H.O.P.E. Center

What is the Nikelas Cole, Healing Oasis Program of Excellence (H.O.P.E.) Center?

A healing-centered, recovery-focused setting for students ages 14-19 struggling in the traditional school setting to recover academic credits and tools to work through adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) and find freedom from the use of substances. The mission of the school is to provide all available and eligible students with the opportunity to get an education and support their recovery journey at the same time.

The primary goals of the Nikelas Cole HOPE Center are threefold:

1. To meet the academic needs of our students, allowing them to earn a secondary school diploma while getting the support they need to live a life long recovery

2. To educate all eligible and available students who are struggling with substance use disorder, co-occurring disorders such as anxiety, depression, and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, and/or adverse childhood experiences

3. To ensure that our students have access to resources such as individualized therapeutic programs and relapse prevention activities that will help them stay in recovery long-term.

By providing comprehensive education services and additional supportive measures, we can offer hope too!
